Data's life cycle
Your activities in your company entail a number of files, of all formats. The mass of this data regularly grows and you have to save them for a longer perio time.
This mass of data is the memory and the expertise of your company, it is essential to manage and protect it throughout time.
That's what we call "management of your data's life cycle".
A Resumption of Activity Plan, following a computer breakdown, allows you to identify the company's "critical" data, to define backup and filing procedures, and the means to implement them. But that is not sufficient, you also have to find the information again.
DataPack, thanks to its functional and user-friendly interface, allows you to quickly display and restore the directory, the searched file, and to visualize its different versions.
E.g. : The selected file in the tree-structure at the left of the window has 13 different versions listed on the right. The symbol on the right indicates the localization of these versions with backup, storage and filing notions.
The first line in this example indicates the last backup of the file, it is in the "cube" (in other words immediate restore) and in the bunkers (distant via internet), in green you can see the "storage" following applied rules (here every Friday during 4 weeks) then every month during 3 months. In pink, the manually operated archives, they correspond here to the last two years.
That way, you visualize the entire file's life (or directory) and you recover the chosen version by a simple click (it appears in the frame at the bottom) in the selected computer "target machine". All these data are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
